Mechanical Steering

This system uses a push - pull cable to turn the motor or rudder.

Rack & Pinion (cable attached to rack gear moved by pinion)

Helm
Bezel: Dashboard trim piece, 20 or 90°, be careful bezel from Ultraflex and Teleflex are not compatible.
Steering Cable
Connection kit (to connect cable, depending on the engine).

Safe-T QC Helm Kits
This no FeedBack single station helm is ideal for single engine boats up to 24'. The three turns lock to lock and easy quick connect cable make this a favorite amongst boaters. Sold at BM in 8' to 14' cable lengths. Parts available separately. Kit comprised of the following; SH5094P single helm, SSC62XX QC cable & SB27484P 90 degree bezel.

Helms
TEL/SH5094P is comparable to the ULF/T71FC. Main difference is that lock-to-lock takes 3 turns. The twin cable is recommended for boats that exceed 50mph or experience instability due to engine flutter. Used for small outboards up to 235 hp.
