Budget Marine Antigua hosted “Three is a charm, Customer Appreciation Social’ on December 17th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on the lawns of the Jolly Harbour store.The event was well attended by customers based at the three locations around the island.
They came in golf carts, cars, off their boats and on foot to enjoy good music by a local DJ, drinks, local dishes and kebabs off the grill. It was an evening of fun and laughter, especially between boatyard workers and boat owners. Some customers based at the North Sound location were allowed to browse the main store for the first time, as the staff from all 3 locations took turns to serve meals and drinks.
The most significant resource of a business is its staff. As such, management took the opportunity to recognize two members and awarded them certificates of appreciation for over 5 years of service. Other staff members received Manager’s Choice Awards for exceptional performance during the year 2015.

Louisa Norris, Manager of Budget Marine Antigua reports: “The year 2015 is just about ended, but not the continued success of Budget Marine Antigua. This location grew in size by square footage, inventory and staff. The challenges were many…opening a third location, stock transfers between stores, training for new software, staff transfers and scheduling topped the list, nevertheless we survived, the worst is now in the past and the overall performance has been great!”
