Stainless Steel 1 x 19 AISI 316 Compacted Strand Wire

Compacted strand wire is up to 30% stronger with less stretch than standard wire construction, so a smaller diameter wire can be used, giving less windage.Terminals used can be machine swaged, Sta-Lok or Norseman type. It is suggested that sail protectors be installed on any compacted strand wire that might come in contact with a sail because of the higher chafe characteristics of the surface of compacted strand wire.
