Ocean
We ship all over the Caribbean but there are some details that our
customers need to know: Popular methods and routes include Karma
Shipping, which has a regular service to Anguilla, Antigua, Saba, St. Barths
St. Eustatius, St. Kitts, Nevis, St.Thomas,Tortola and Virgin Gorda. Other
vessels are MV East Pak #1 and #2 with routes south to Martinique, St. Lucia
and St. Vincent as well as MV Addie which offers regular routes to the Virgin
Islands, St. Kitts and Antigua. They are ver y reliable and the rates are
reasonable. Budget Marine St. Maarten cannot ship to individual customers
in the territories of Trinidad, Grenada, Bonaire or Curacao. Customers on
these islands should consult the Budget Marine store in that territory.
Air
Liat Cargo flies to most destinations throughout the Caribbean. AmeriJet
also covers many Caribbean destinations and some cargo planes can carry
larger items. Express: Small, urgent orders can be reliably shipped via DHL,
FedEx, Liat Quikpak or DCA Speedmail. Note: airlines will not accept any
hazardous goods such as paints, resins, glues, etc.

On Island Delivery
At all our locations, arrangements can be made for on island delivery of bulk
buys and heavy products, as and when the company vehicle is available.
So you don’t need to lug that heavy battery to the dockside – request
assistance from sales personnel.
Shipping and Damage In Transit
Budget Marine does not hold itself liable for damages occurred in transit
therefore outgoing shipments must be carefully inspected by the recipient
before accepting deliver y to ensure that items are received in good
condition. If items are received damaged a claim must be immediately filed
with the respective shipping company. If it can be shown that the damage
incurred is due to improper packing by Budget Marine we shall be willing
to make good on this. Please note that any discrepancies or shor tages in
shipments must be reported to the issuing location within fourteen (14)
days of receipt of the shipment.
Export throughout the Caribbean

We prefer orders via fax and email. Please see Budget Marine store location pages for contact info. It saves you and us time and money, and it also prevents confusion. Please provide us with the product codes and quantities desired. For non-catalog items or spare parts, you can make drawings of things you can’t quite manage to describe.
Duty Free and Taxes
Some of our locations are duty and tax free, in all the others certain conditions apply for duty free purchases. These may include yacht in transit and bonded items. Because the Caribbean consists of many different sovereign nations and territories, the legal structures vary, the pricing levels vary and the credit facilities vary. Our credit accounts are therefore specific to locations.We try to standardize as much as we can, given the differences that are imposed on us through various jurisdictions.
Prices
The catalogue prices are “Caribbean List Prices” based on our sticker price in St Maar ten, Netherlands Antilles, which is a duty free port. They do not necessarily reflect our selling prices in every location, although in all locations we can indicate to you what logic leads us to the par ticular pricing we maintain. All locations within the Budget Marine Group are committed to giving you the best possible pricing.To this extent we have many locations that maintain complicated duty free concessions. The cost of administering these facilities may however lead to variances from the Catalogue pricing. All prices in our catalogue are shown in USD.
Discount
We give 10% discount on all cash purchases and generous discounts on volume purchases. Tell us what your purchase requirement is and see what we can do for you. Let us know about your refit project before you start so we can suggest the most economical and effective material choices.
Cash
Currencies accepted at different locations. In St. Maarten we accept payments in Antillean Guilders, US Dollars and Euros; in Antigua EC and US dollars; in St. Thomas US dollars only; in Trinidad TT, US, EC dollars and Euros; in Bonaire Antillean Guilders and US Dollars; in Curacao Antillean Guilders, US Dollars and Euros; in Grenada EC dollars, US dollars and Euros.
Cheques
Budget Marine St Maarten accepts local cheques and US cheques. Most other Budget Marine locations accept local cheques, bank draft cheques and travelers cheques, but this should be individually confirmed at each store.
Credit Cards
We will accept your Credit Card payment with a signed
fax message and full credit card information. Master and
Visa credit cards are accepted; for other credit cards,
check individual Budget Marine locations for their policy.
